Chefs Gallery

My sister and I had a friend visit from Canada and decided to take her to a place in the city called Chefs Gallery.  The menu was a bit over whelming as there is a lot to choose from, I guess it was difficult to pick dishes as you will see from the pictures they all looked very good.  So we decided on a few dishes and decided to share.

Macanese Style Mini Burger.

This burger is filled with pork fillet, lettuce, pork floss and mayo.  Very tasty and delicious, bursting with lots of flavour as soon as it hits your taste buds, the pork is soft and juicy served on a fresh bun.  This is a great dish to share between two, however one is not enough so if you are sharing this dish be prepared to fight for the last one.

Crab Meat Spring Rolls.

If you like spring rolls then these are worth trying, they were a bit too crispy for me but they still tasted good

Shredded Peking Duck.

This was my absolute favorite dish for the evening. Shredded Peking duck filled with cucumber and hoisin sauce rolled inside a Chinese fluffy roti.  So delicious and absolutely tasty, lots of nice Asian flavours mixed together,  a must have!

Sesame Steamed or Custard Steamed Dumplings

The presentation of these dumplings are so cute and because it was Halloween that weekend they presented there deserts as devil pigs or jack o-lanterns.  The devil pigs had sesame filled inside their dumpling while the jack o-lantern was filled with custard.   They were both nice and I thought the custard filled dumpling tasted nicer, the sesame one was different and interesting.

Everything you need to know about eating out in Sydney and Chefs Gallery!

So how did I rate the food:
Macanese Style Mini Burger  - 5 stars out of 6
Crab Meat Spring Rolls - 3.5 stars out of 6
Shredded Peking Duck - 5.5 stars out of 6
Devil Pigs Dumpling - 4 stars out of 6
Jack-lantern Dumpling - 4.5 stars out of 6

I would definitely recommend this place for friends and couples.
A great place to eat out and the prices for the dishes are not too bad some can be a bit pricey but the food is fresh and delicious.
